Day 8

Today was a very productive day. I met with Mark first thing this morning to go over the things that I worked on yesterday. We started right in working with stuff regarding the camp palmer trip that we are doing this weekend. We got the final count, and the list of items to get all taken care of. Second, we briefly discussed the fair book, and how the book is laid out. It was neat to see a different county, and how they explain each of the rules for all the different projects. I was also impressed at the organization of how the animals are brought on to the grounds, and how the shows are laid out. Next, we talked a little about web pages for 4-H clubs, and how access will hopefully asset those things. I think that Access will be a great resource for each of the clubs to use. I think my only worry is getting people to start using it, and making it a part of their routine. Finally, I started really tearing into the officer training that I will be conducting on April 30th. We decided to use a theme that is patriotic, and uses the idea of working with the the presidential election. I am using tomorrow to keep working on the concepts, and ideas for activities for this training. That will be my major objective. I will be asking the 4-H council to help and assist with the event also. More Later!
