FDD #2

Today was the final day of Farm Discovery Days 2008! The groups were much smaller today, but that allowed for a more close up experience for the kids involved. We had around 170 kids in the morning, and 50 in the afternoon. I was not confident in my schedules, so I mostly adapted the groups and rolled with the punches. I did get more pictures taken during the day, so I am proud to say that I have put together a fun movie of all the pictures I took.

I am glad that I got to not only see this event, but take part in it the last two days! It has been a learning experience in working with mass groups of classrooms and coordinating them together. If I could go back, I would probably try to even out the scheduling earlier than I did. I would also have maybe setup a seperate area for the kids to eat their lunch and play outside (weather permitting.) My goals for this weekend are to put together a display pertaining to internet safety and I will be working a safety fair and presenting the information on Saturday afternoon from 12-5.
