ASP & Meetings

This morning was mostly recovery, and cleanup from officer training. I had a large amount of supplies that I had utilized from the office. I will be putting together a binder (or box) of information for the future years to get information from, and put together a training. I hope that the box will provide all the information necessary for Mark to conduct the trainings.
This afternoon my adviser, Dr. Scheer came to observe my "experience" so far, and give feedback about a program. The program in this case was an After school program with 1-4th graders. Today we taught them about rockets, and how they work. This is a fun program that I have done before, so I felt comfortable teaching the group about it. It was a very nice day for the program since we had to be outside. We talk about rockets move, make our own Alka-seltzer canister rockets and then fill 2-liters with pressure and shoot them off with our own rocket launcher. It was also the last program that we would be doing (and Mark's last for the year) so it was a fun way to end things up for the year.

Tomorrow I will be candling eggs for the small school that is doing embrology. So far things have been going pretty well, and I hope that we will be able to see some development soon!! We will also be shooting off the rockets that the academy made to see who's rocket goes the highest.
