Officer Training Planning

Today, I spent most of the day planning and working on the officer training information. I started work on the master schedule, and started bouncing ideas off of Mark about theme ideas, and what he was hoping to see out of the event. I also worked on the flyer, and added some incentives for clubs and club members to attend. The schedule looks a little like this right now:
Pizza/Registration
Opening
Ice Breakers/ Leadership Games
Officer Breakout Sessions
Processing
Awards/Door Prizes
Initiation Ceremony
Dismissal
The theme that Mark came up with is great! We decided to go with a "Presidential" theme, and add in some fun patriotic elements. I think the biggest suprise about this whole event is the amount of time that I have put into planning it, and getting things ready. I still have to work on the "lesson plans" for all the offices, and make sure that I have volunteers ready and trained in time. I am hoping that this goes well, because I feel it is my first big thing that Mark has let me plan!
All through the day I also worked on Farm Discovery Days getting donations and things to put together for the "goody bags". I am also helping Mark put the schedule together, and contact schools with any changes, or questions.
My goals for tomorrow are to work more on the lesson plans, the crosswork puzzles, and the activities for each officer. I would also like to get all my paperwork organized, and put together so I can find everything when I need to!
