There is so much that goes into an event like the officer training that is tomorrow. I started working the second week of my internship on this event, and I can't believe the amount of time that I have put into lesson plans, ideas, setup and incentives.
I spent today making lists for what to take to the grounds tomorrow, finding a few more prizes for participants, and calling volunteers to confirm that they would be coming. I also started the thank you cards, and laying things out on the tables for each session.
Tomorrow morning and afternoon I will be shopping for materials, decorating, and then the event will be from 6-8pm. I hope to have lots of feedback, and ideas for Mark for next year's training.
